*Sye* I don't know what to say anymore... Saturday doesn't seem to be a nice day. As Mor pointed out, last week we didn't know if he would pass the day, n he's still here today. But unfortunately, even though the week hasn't been too bad considering, since yesterday evening, he's barely been lucid, so I don't know what to expect anymore, but he might be gone in few more days. I have the feeling that he's waiting for few last things to settle, like seing my father that will come back tomorrow. But indeed Curm, he's never given up, n I expect him to fight to the last breath. And yes we pray everyday still, I could nearly say every waking hour, except when I'm too busy attending to his needs. And no I don't belive that we're alone, n it's a good part of y I know that even once he's gone, I will go on with my life, coz I don't have the right to waste all the lessons we've learnt together. But I must say that I'm dreading a bit the "after" without him. He's been my boyfriend and "acomplice" for 10 years now, and we have so many projects to do together yet, but we'll c what happen, it's in the hands of God, whatever his will for Lan is.

I still have that HOPE that i told you last Saturday... and i will keep having it strongly...

I can just say, hold on Rox. Ill keep Lan in my prayers and I know God has something planned for him.

Rest easily and without pain now that you have moved on to the next place, Lan - and know that the things you have helped build will live on, with you in their memory.

My heart goes out to Rox and all other family members and friends that will miss having him here with us.

Keep faith, days have been rough, but now you know he is in heaven, in a better place, I know you will get back up.

We still are a family, albeit a grieving one.

If you ever need anything, Rox, don't hesitate to ask.

We do not mourn for those who have left us, they suffer no more. Why would we begrudge them their reward for a race well run and victory gained? We mourn for the loss of a guiding light, for the loss of a friend and family member. We mourn for what we see as the death of a dream. We mourn because we feel a great loss, an emptyness, where the loved one was. I have learned that if we dwell on what we perceive is gone then it truly will be gone. A great man once told me that if well dwell ON something long enough we will end up dwelling IN that place.

Yes, Lan is no longer physically with us but he IS still with us. How many of us would still be in this game if we had not found our guilds and the philosophy behind them. Who of us really had the determination to push forward that dream and see it come to fruition. I consider Lan my friend and am honored to have served with him for the time I was granted.

His dream is alive and as long as someone in the game needs me, for as long as I can, I will carry that dream forward. Someone else may need what I have been given.

Strange how expected these things are yet such a shocking surprise when the occur. I've seen much of death in my life and as prepared as we think we are to take on it's devastating blows it seems we continually find ourselves standing naked before its presence!
I was most impressed by Lan about a year ago, we were "gabbin", in game, about our respective cancers and the effects on our lives and the lives of those around us. We talked of the things left undone and I felt the pain in him as he typed these words, "but I want to see my daughter grow up"! Having come to know him a bit more over the past months there is no doubt in my mind, "you will Lan, you will"!
My spirit flows to you and your daughter rox and the only thing I can say is, give it time. Even though the pain may dull it will never trully go away, but, niether will his love! And when it seems the darkness is about to devour you, go alone to the sunsets to find him and he will guide you through this terrible time.

Rox, I give your my deepest condolences. I dont know what to write but as I searched through my mind the only thing that came was:

Sometime u think there isnt the rite words to expression hw one feels about someone else's lost, but I think its not the words that matter, but the fact that the other person feels the lost as well, and we do feel your lost Roxe, even if we may not feel it as hard as you, its felt...... and remembered.....
